Questions about chat.

Why not just use Messenger or WhatsApp?

Because work messages are company data. In Fogito the history stays with the business, access follows each employee’s role, and the conversation doesn’t stop when an employee leaves.

Can we chat with our customers?

Yes, if you choose to. You control access per customer: a customer can chat with you, follow their project with limited access, and view and pay their invoices. If you want to give customers a surface of their own, the customer portal sits on top.

Can we message both one to one and in groups?

Yes. Chat supports both direct conversations and group chats, for example by team, project or topic.

Is the chat real time?

Yes. Messages arrive instantly, and you can see who is online and when a colleague is typing.

Does the chat work on the phone?

Who can see the conversations?
