How alerts work

Choose the alert type, vehicles and recipients, then test that it triggers correctly, so you only get the notifications that matter.

Step by step

  1. Choose the alert type

Pick what should trigger the alert, for example entering or leaving a geofence area, speeding, or movement outside working hours.

  2. Choose vehicles or groups

Attach the alert to the relevant vehicles, for example all service vans or a single machine trailer.

  3. Choose the recipients

Decide who gets notified, so the alert reaches someone who can actually react, for example the operations manager.

  4. Test the alert for real

Trigger the alert in a controlled way, for example by driving into the area, and check that the message reaches the right people.
